I created a private practice so that I could better address the needs of my clients. My goal is to help you without the hassle of a large agency! You can contact and schedule with me directly from day one. Parking is right outside of my office.
I charge affordable rates. I can offer you a full 60-minute session. I will not be rushing you out the door after 45 minutes like other places.
While I do participate in some insurance plans, the majority of my work is private pay. This adds additional confidentiality and also allows you to have additional say in your care without outside companies placing limitations on it.
I have been trained to work with a variety of age ranges. For 18-25 year olds, I remember what it was like juggling college and work. I remember how stressful deciding what to do with your future or how to achieve a high GPA could be. For baby boomers, I acknowledge the complexities of retirement and figuring out your new life. I have experience working with teenagers and the complexities during those years. I would be happy to apply techniques I learned and therapeutic techniques to achieve your goals and ambitions in life. Together we can pave the way for your future.
I can bring you results. I am familiar with the latest research and therapeutic techniques. I can help you. I can also offer you additional resources. I have experience treating substance use, mental health, and supervising/managing programs.
I offer life coaching services. Sometimes you just want to enhance your life and pursue goals. Are you contemplating a big career move? Does it feel impossible to avoid that late night ice cream? Does the thought of beginning a new fitness routine feel overwhelming? Together we can break these goals down into more manageable steps using psychological principles.
My practice strives to help you effectively. I want you to feel better quickly, rather than keeping you in therapy for extended periods of time.
My theoretical orientation for counseling is eclectic drawing primarily from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, community reinforcement approach, and solution focused therapy.
